Dr. Curtis Breville

Dr. Curtis Breville is a 35-year veteran of the IT industry, with experience spanning engineering, consulting, sales, analyst roles, Field CTO, VP, and CEO. Over his career, he has worked with and alongside global technology leaders, architecting and delivering solutions for Fortune 100 organizations.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, a Master’s in International Management, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, where his research addressed a critical challenge in the AI era: how organizations achieve successful outcomes despite a widening shortage of data science talent.

Along with being the founder and CEO of IPE Solutions, Dr. Breville is the creator of the industry’s first and most recognized data center liquid cooling certification program, helping organizations improve efficiency, reduce risk, and prepare for the demands of AI infrastructure at scale.

Today, his work sits at the intersection of power, water, and performance in modern data centers. Most recently published in the Mensa Bulletin, he is a leading voice in advancing sustainable cooling strategies, challenging the traditional tradeoff between energy consumption and water usage. Dr. Breville advocates for a new model; one that combines advanced cooling with emerging water generation technologies to enable data centers to move toward truly water-positive, energy-efficient operations.
